Report: £15m Wolves star grants go-ahead for January departure; loan agreement with club already in place..

Wolves striker Sasa Kalajdzic is reportedly open to a January move to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

For the past few months, the Austria international has been frustrated at Molineux.

Gary O’Neil has been hesitant to utilize the 26-year-old striker, and as a result, talk over his future has begun.

O’Neil has opted to utilize Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan in attack, with Kalajdzic appearing in just 157 Premier League minutes this season.

Fabio Silva has already left Molineux for Rangers on loan, and it appears that Kalajdzic wants to follow the Portuguese out the door…

As Wolves’ troubles continue, Sasa Kalajdzic gives Eintracht Frankfurt the green light.

It was rumored earlier this month that the Wolves were considering selling Kalajdzic. According to Bild, Kalajdzic wants to leave Wolves in January, and has expressed interest in joining Eintracht Frankfurt.

According to Sport.de, Wolves and Eintracht have already agreed on a loan deal for the midfielder until the end of the season.

Wolves striker Sasa Kalajdzic is reportedly open to a January move to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

For the past few months, the Austria international has been frustrated at Molineux.

However, conversations about a potential purchase option that would be triggered at the end of the season are still ongoing. Wolves would presumably want to retrieve as much of the £15 million they paid for him from Stuttgart as possible.

According to Kalajdzic’s agency, there is interest from Premier League and Bundesliga clubs.

O’Neil was really asked about the Kalajdzic conjecture before the Everton game, and essentially stated that the player could not be moved unless someone else came in.

It makes sense to relocate.

If O’Neil does not see value in Kalajdzic, he must leave in January, especially since Euro 2024 is coming up next year and he has to be playing ahead of the event.

Hopefully, Wolves can get someone else in before Kalajdzic leaves.

It appears that he wants to return to the Bundesliga, but Wolves must ensure that they have adequate cover. After all, Silva has already left, and Hwang Hee-chan will be joining South Korea for the Asian Cup.

Wolves should sell Kalajdzic immediately to bring in some cash. However, a loan with a buy option may be more feasible.
