‘Unbelievable’: Sheffield Wednesday super player despite the uncertain future concurs with Bannan on a huge decision..
Josh Windass has concurred with Barry Bannan’s recent assertions on their head coach at Sheffield Wednesday being “unbelievable.”
Ever since he joined Sheffield Wednesday in October, Danny Rohl has received a great deal of Praise. The German’s first three months have been uneven, but The Owls have won seven of their sixteen games across all competitions, and they appear far more capable of staying up than they did under Xisco Munoz.
Not just the fans seem to adore Rohl, who has swiftly emerged as a favorite at Hillsborough.
In November, Barry Bannan, who had been at Sheffield Wednesday for over nine years, acknowledged that Rohl was the “best manager” he had ever had while playing football. Before the loss against Coventry City, Windass said in an interview with The Star: “He hasn’t really spoken to me individually that much, but the way he coaches football is the way I see it.”
“Now that a top manager is involved, Bannan remarked, “It’s hard to put it into words, but I would say he is probably the best manager I have had in my whole football career.”
“I think he is destined for the top, so we need to trust in him to get us out of this.”
Since Bannan’s remarks, Sheffield Wednesday have only appeared better, and Josh Windass has since repeated his compliments.
Before the loss against Coventry City, Windass said in an interview with The Star: “He hasn’t really spoken to me individually that much, but the way he coaches football is the way I see it.”
“He’s by far the best coach I’ve ever had, and I think Henrik and the staff are really amazing at what they do, as well as the way he sees football and explains it.”When he initially started working there, I told him that if Thomas Muller was happy with the position, then so should we! Now that Bayern Munich is a much superior team, but the concepts and whatnot are still the same, he plays us clips of them. He has imparted valuable knowledge to us, all of it morally sound and It is pleasant to have someone come in who shares your belief in how football should be played.”
Is Josh Windass going to stay or go?
Josh Windass’ admiration for Danny Rohl was released soon after rumors surfaced that he was considering a transfer to Sheffield Wednesday.
One team reportedly interested in signing Windass when his contract ends in the summer is Real Salt Lake, an MLS team.
Despite the fact that the 30-year-old has scored four goals and provided an assist in his past seven appearances for the team, the Owls will undoubtedly want to keep him around.
However, Windass’ most recent remarks about Rohl are undoubtedly positive, as his appreciation for the 34-year-old manager may convince him to extend his Hillsborough tenure by one more year.
Hopefully, Rohl will decide to keep the attacker, in which case he will be the next player to pen down on a new deal, with a further nine players out of contract in the summer.
