‘Ipswich town radar’: 21-year goal machine/assist star player is a top transfer target..

Ipswich Town is actively seeking an agreement to acquire AFC Wimbledon striker Ali Al-Hamadi before the impending deadline, as reported by the EADT.

With George Hirst sidelined, Freddie Ladapo on loan to Charlton Athletic, and Dane Scarlett recalled by Tottenham Hotspur, the team faces a striking deficit. Currently, Kayden Jackson stands as the sole senior striker at Portman Road, with Nathan Broadhead and Conor Chaplin occasionally filling in.

In a strategic move, Ipswich Town has pinpointed Ali Al-Hamadi as a crucial target for the final week of the transfer window. Described as a ‘major target’ for the Championship promotion contenders, the 21-year-old forward has showcased his prowess for AFC Wimbledon, accumulating an impressive tally of 17 goals and seven assists across various competitions this season.

Al-Hamadi’s remarkable performance in League Two suggests he is destined for a move to higher leagues, whether it occurs before the January transfer window closes or at a later date. Since joining AFC Wimbledon from Wycombe Wanderers, he has demonstrated his striking capabilities, amassing a total of 27 goals and eight assists in 48 games. Additionally, being an 11-time Iraq international currently competing in the Asian Cup, Al-Hamadi presents a versatile and promising addition to Ipswich Town.

Given Ipswich’s shortage of strikers, there’s a possibility that Al-Hamadi could find himself in a prominent role at Portman Road, making this potential move an appealing opportunity for the prolific forward’s development under manager McKenna.
