CONFIRMED: Sunderland verifies Deal To Send 19-year-old ace Out On Loan…

According to the Daily Telegraph, Greek team Aris Salonika has agreed to loan winger Jewison Bennette to Sunderland for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old, who has been on the verge of leaving Stadium of Light, is now set for a move to Greece after discussions with the Greek side were finalized.

This marks Bennette’s first departure from the Stadium of Light since joining the Black Cats in the summer of 2022.

With limited opportunities, he made just 20 appearances during his one-and-a-half year tenure, making his sole Championship appearance this season as an 81st-minute substitute against Southampton in September.

As a Costa Rica international since 2021, Bennette has accumulated 12 caps for his country. The pace of finalizing the transfer to Greece now awaits resolution between the two clubs.
