Aston Villa received a boost in pursuit of 26-year-old La Liga striker…

Sevilla is looking to sell Youssef En-Nesyri, providing an opportunity for Aston Villa to make a late move, as reported by the Spanish outlet Fichajes.

Aston Villa, along with Unai Emery, seems interested in a last-minute transfer for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri, who is made available for a winter transfer away from Sevilla at the request of manager Quique Sanchez Flores, as he doesn’t see him fitting into his tactical plans.

En-Nesyri, a standout for Sevilla this season, has scored eight goals and provided two assists in all competitions.

Despite his notable contributions, a potential separation appears likely after four years in Andalusia, especially with Sevilla currently facing challenges in a relegation battle.

Aston Villa, lacking depth in their attack this season, has expressed late interest in En-Nesyri, showcasing their ambition in the transfer market.

With Ollie Watkins leading the line and Jhon Duran in reserve, Emery aims to land another striker with experience and an aerial threat, like En-Nesyri, to add a different dimension to Aston Villa’s attack.
