‘Fininshed deal’ – Brighton’s Top man exit made officially, medicals completed..
On Wednesday, Sky Deutschland journalist Patrick Berger revealed that VfB Stuttgart is in advanced negotiations with Brighton & Hove Albion for Mahmoud Dahoud.
Later that day, Berger shared a video of the 28-year-old arriving in Germany to finalize a loan move to the Bundesliga side. According to Bild, Dahoud is set to undergo medical tests with Stuttgart and sign a loan deal until the end of the season.
The aim is for a permanent signing in the summer, although no mandatory/automatic purchase option has been agreed with Brighton as part of the loan deal. Stuttgart’s manager, Sebastian Hoeneß, is eager to bring the former Borussia Dortmund player back to Germany in the winter market. Berger, on X (formerly Twitter), stated that Dahoud has completed his medical tests, labeling it a ‘done deal,’ with the official announcement pending.
