REPORT: Disagreement among decision makers over Stefano Pioli potential successor ….
A report indicates that there is an emerging disagreement among the decision-making individuals within AC Milan regarding who might potentially succeed Stefano Pioli at the conclusion of this season.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, a divide exists between Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the new special advisor, and certain other executives at Milan regarding the course of action to take in the upcoming summer if Pioli is not permitted to fulfill the remainder of his contract.
It appears that the majority of influential figures within Milan lean towards favoring Bologna coach Thiago Motta as the preferred choice, considering his commendable management of the Gialloblu throughout the current season. Despite a brief downturn in form, they seem to have overcome it and returned to a predominantly successful trajectory, further suggesting Motta’s managerial prowess.
However, Ibrahimovic holds a differing perspective, advocating for Antonio Conte as the optimal choice for the club due to his extensive experience in Serie A, having secured league titles with both Juventus and Inter previously.
Following the defeat to Monza in Serie A, some fans have once again directed their frustration towards Pioli, despite the club being just two points away from second place in the standings.
