Coach McDermott has been added to the NFL Competition Committee…
The NFL announced on Thursday that Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott has been appointed to the NFL Competition Committee.
This committee is responsible for reviewing various competitive aspects of the game, such as playing rules, roster regulations, technology, game-day operations, and player protection.
McDermott expressed his gratitude for being selected and acknowledged the responsibility that comes with contributing to the growth and development of the game. Alongside McDermott, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay was also added to the committee.
The Competition Committee gathers feedback from surveys distributed to all 32 NFL clubs to formulate agenda items. They then analyze this feedback and consult with league medical advisors, subcommittees of coaches and general managers, and representatives from the NFL Players Association.
