West Brom boss confirms loanee will still play key role

Despite the fact that his playing time has been restricted up to this point, Callum Marshall, who is now on loan from Albion, may still have a significant role to play at the club between now and the conclusion of the season.

Although the Northern Irishman, who is now 19 years old, arrived at The Hawthorns in January, he has not been able to find a significant amount of playing time on the field.

His Albion appearances have been limited to just three cameos as a replacement, and in the two most recent matches, he has been a substitute who has not performed his duties.

Before he made his loan transfer to Albion, the forward, who had previously been playing for Linfield before signing with West Ham in January 2022, had been making headlines in youth football.

During the 2021/22 under-18 Premier League season, he scored nine goals in 16 playing appearances. After that, he went on to score 23 goals in 24 playing appearances.

At London Stadium, there is a lot of enthusiasm about what the future holds for the forward that is currently playing.

Additionally, Corberan is enthusiastic about a player whom he has described as a “exciting striker.”

According to his explanation, “We are aware that Marshall did not have any prior experience working at the senior level.” It is true that he is a young striker with an incredible amount of talent, but he is still lacking in experience.

“There are instances when you gain experience through playing.

“Sometimes you get experience by fighting and working and improving as a player.

“As a player, sometimes you have to get minutes in his experience and that is the way that football works.”
