Positive player ratings for Cardiff City, with Diedhiou taking a chance and the top man
Six Ethan Horvath
Not a great bit of work to do. made a clean stop on a shot taken by Delano Burgzorg during the second half. Good overall, a few shaky moments when the ball was at his feet once more.
Perry Ng 8
created a truly remarkable moment by slicing past Terriers defenders and putting Grant in position for an early opportunity. Once more, really solid.
8-Nat Phillips
In the first half, issue Sorba Thomas with a formidable challenge. strong in the air and with the ball. He fits in perfectly.
Dimitrios Goutas (7)
a pillar of stability on this side, similar to Ng. contributed to the defense against the opposition’s set-piece threat.
Wilson-Esbrand, Josh, 6
A mixed one, as he made several deft runs and was seen with a lot of space on the left. However, his final output was a bit off.
Ryan Wintle (the star) 8
An excellent performance by the midfield player. fulfilled all of your expectations for a center midfield player. Played sweetly and took off his socks.
Joe Ralls 7
Ticked play over well in the center, just like Wintle. put his foot down and made it difficult for the guests to construct through the middle.
Josh Bowler (7
made a beautiful first touch to set up Diedhiou’s goal, then sent in a brilliant cross for the striker. dominated Brodie Spencer, his opposite man, the entire evening.
Turnbull, David 7
shown a high level of technical skill in his ball manipulation, maneuvering around obstacles, and making some excellent passes. A successful excursion.
Karlan Grant 7
stung Lee Nicholls’ palms with a nasty low shot right away. As tenacious as ever, he profited from Wilson-Esbrand’s removal of opposition players.
Diedhiou Famara 7
Similar to previous generations of Cardiff strikers, he was initially a reclusive figure. But when Bowler played that cross into him, he had a lot to do and he finished brilliantly to score his first goal for City.
