Bills Ex Tre’Davious White Arranges Visits With Two Teams..
The Buffalo Bills, in what could be considered one of the most challenging decisions of the offseason, opted to release seasoned cornerback Tre’Davious White, a stalwart presence on their roster since 2017.
Cornerback Tre’Davious White suffered a torn Achilles and missed the remainder of the 2023 season.
White’s injury occurred on a non-contact play in the third quarter while guarding Miami wide receiver Tyreek Hill. The seventh-year cornerback was coming out of his backpedal and turned upfield before reacting and going to the turf.
He was visibly distraught and taken off the field via a cart.
Despite facing the setback of a torn Achilles tendon, White remains a sought-after commodity in the NFL, with two prospective teams eager to meet him in free-agent visits scheduled for the upcoming week.
According to reports shared by NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo on Sunday night, the Los Angeles Rams and the Las Vegas Raiders have both arranged meetings with White. Garafolo also noted that additional teams have expressed interest in the cornerback’s services.
In a tweet, Garafolo stated, “Former Bills All-Pro and Pro Bowl CB Tre’Davious White has visits scheduled with the Rams and Raiders this week, with a few more teams showing interest as well, sources say. White, cut by Buffalo earlier this month, is working his way back from a torn Achilles.”
As this situation unfolds, more updates are expected to follow.
