Nottingham Forest key player forced to leave an international game due to injury after 40 minutes. Nuno Espírito Santo expecting a swift return.
Injuries seem to pour down like torrential rain at Nottingham Forest, and once again, another star player appears to have fallen victim while on international duty.
With a dozen players currently representing their respective countries, it’s evident that some are faring better than others, with one unfortunate soul seemingly succumbing to an injury.
While it’s typically a moment of pride for clubs to see their players don their national colors, for Nottingham Forest, it’s a time of anxious hope, praying for their safe return unscathed by injury.
Among those away on international duty are crucial players vital to the team’s success. Unfortunately, it appears that one such player has now joined the ranks of the injured, adding to Forest’s woes.
The fears have materialized into reality as Boly, who recently made a return for Forest in a 1-1 draw against Luton, was forced off the pitch during Ivory Coast’s friendly against Benin after just 40 minutes of play.
Having joined Forest from Wolves in the summer of 2022 for a fee of £2 million, Boly has proven himself to be a valuable asset when fit, particularly in defense. Now, Forest must anxiously await the prognosis of his latest injury setback.
