Everton to sign Celtic “goal machine”….

Everton has expressed interest in securing the services of Celtic’s rising star Rocco Vata during the upcoming summer transfer window, as revealed by Harry Watkinson on his personal Twitter account today, March 27th. The 18-year-old has garnered attention after an impressive season with Celtic’s B side, netting an impressive tally of 12 goals in just 15 appearances.

Vata, a youth international for the Republic of Ireland, is set to become a free agent at the conclusion of the season, making him an enticing prospect for various European clubs. Everton, recognizing the potential of young talents, sees Vata as a potential addition to their squad, aligning with their shift towards prioritizing the recruitment of promising players who can be developed into top-tier performers.

With uncertainties surrounding the future of key striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and new signings like Beto struggling to make a significant impact, Everton is in search of fresh attacking options. While Vata may lack extensive experience and a proven track record, his imminent availability presents an opportunity for Everton to make a calculated investment in the young striker’s potential, allowing them to strengthen their squad for the long term.
