Plymouth Argyle Experienced Player Claims His Comeback will be ‘Loud’..
Plymouth Argyle’s midfielder Adam Forshaw, aged 32, is returning to training following an injury setback. There’s optimism that he may feature in the Pilgrims’ upcoming match against his former team, Norwich City, scheduled for Good Friday at Carrow Road.
Forshaw was absent during Plymouth Argyle’s recent 1-0 loss to Preston North End on March 16 due to a hamstring injury, as stated by head coach Ian Foster. However, he participated in training sessions held at a rainy Harper’s Park on Monday.
Having transferred from Leeds United to Norwich City last summer, Forshaw’s stint with the Canaries saw limited game time, featuring in only four starts and five substitute appearances. Notably, he faced Plymouth Argyle once in September, entering as a substitute during a 6-2 defeat at Home Park.
Since joining Argyle in January, Forshaw has encountered fitness challenges, leading to only five starts and one substitute appearance for the team.
Additionally, Matty Sorinola was sidelined for the Preston game due to illness but was present in the group training session at Harper’s Park. An update is anticipated from Foster regarding Darko Gyabi, the Leeds United midfielder on loan, who missed the Preston fixture due to a groin issue.
