‘SAD’: Again,Another Leeds star not expected to play again this season….

According to a recent update, two players from Leeds United are unlikely to participate in any more matches this season, and one of them might be leaving Elland Road soon. The team is currently striving for a swift return to the Premier League and is sitting at the top of the Championship. Manager Daniel Farke is gearing up his squad for a critical phase of matches as they aim for promotion.

Leeds has been in remarkable form in 2024, winning 12 out of 13 games in the second tier and conceding only three goals during this impressive run. With just eight league fixtures left, their upcoming matches include a clash with Watford followed by a home game against Hull City.

The team is facing several injury concerns before their next match at Vicarage Road. Georginio Rutter underwent minor surgery after the recent victory against Millwall, while Connor Roberts sustained an injury while playing for Wales. Additionally, Junior Firpo won’t be available for selection until Thursday after his international duties with the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Pascal Struijk and Stuart Dallas are both sidelined with long-term injuries. Struijk has undergone surgery and is expected to return for pre-season training. Meanwhile, Dallas, who hasn’t played since suffering a serious leg injury against Manchester City nearly two years ago, is still working towards recovery. Despite his efforts, it’s unlikely that Dallas will feature for Leeds again this season. Furthermore, there’s speculation that he might depart from the club when his contract expires in the summer.

Football Insider journalist Pete O’Rourke has reported that there’s no set timeline for Dallas’ comeback, and it’s anticipated that he will be released from Leeds United at the end of the season. This news is disheartening for both Dallas and the fans, as he has been a beloved figure at the club, especially given his status as a fan favorite in Yorkshire.
