Bills on a potential landing spot for Tee Higgins
The Buffalo Bills’ recent loss of key receivers like Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs has left them in need of reinforcements in the wide receiver corps, especially with Josh Allen leading the offense.
Currently, the Bills’ receiving options may not inspire confidence, with Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollins, Justin Shorter, and Andy Isabella forming the core group. Given the team’s Super Bowl aspirations, bolstering their receiving options is crucial.
One potential solution could be pursuing a trade for Tee Higgins from the Cincinnati Bengals. Higgins, who requested a trade at the start of free agency, offers star-level talent and could provide a significant boost to Buffalo’s offense.
While the Bengals have been hesitant to part ways with Higgins, the right offer from the Bills might persuade them to reconsider. At just 24 years old, Higgins presents a long-term option for Buffalo, aligning with Allen’s prime years.
Acquiring Higgins would not only address an immediate need but also position the Bills for sustained success with a talented receiver in their ranks. However, potential obstacles to a deal between Cincinnati and Buffalo remain to be navigated.
