West brom gear up to face Rotherham united in a big way….

The first step for West Brom’s midfielder: How West Brom should set up for their match against Rotherham United.

Current updates on West Brom’s team lineup as they prepare to face Rotherham United in the Championship game tonight.

West Brom will be up against Rotherham United, who have already been relegated, following their 2-2 draw with Stoke City in the previous match.

Despite Mikey Johnston and Jed Wallace initially securing a two-goal advantage for West Brom, Stoke City managed to equalize through Million Manhoef and Andre Vidigal.

Carlos Corberan’s team maintains the 5th position in the Championship standings and could widen the gap to nine points ahead of Coventry City in 7th place if they secure a victory over Rotherham United tonight.

In their previous encounter, West Brom defeated Rotherham United 2-0, with goals from Grady Diangana and Wallace, aiming to replicate their success and achieve a double victory over their opponents tonight.

West Brom will be without three squad members and have doubts about two others for tonight’s match at the Hawthorns, according to Birmingham World.

Daryl Dike, Jayson Molumby, and Martin Kelly are sidelined for the rest of the season, with Kelly not having made any appearances this term.

Josh Maja is progressing in his recovery but is unlikely to be fit enough to play against Rotherham.

Matt Phillips has been gradually returning to form with substitute appearances in recent weeks but might not be fit to start yet, although he could feature in some capacity.

The potential starting XI includes Palmer as the goalkeeper, with Furlong, Kipre, Ajayi, Reach, M’Vila, Chalobah, Wallace, Diangana, Johnston, and Thomas-Asante.

Brandon Thomas-Asante is expected to lead the forward line, while Johnston and Wallace, who have been influential in recent months, are likely to retain their positions.

Diangana might play in a central attacking role, and in midfield, Chalobah and M’Vila could form the partnership, with M’Vila possibly earning his first start given his previous substitute appearances.

Adam Reach may be deployed as the left-back to provide Conor Townsend with a rest, while Furlong is expected to remain in the right-back position.

There could be changes in the center-back positions, with Cedric Kipre and Semi Ajayi likely to feature, as further rotations are anticipated against Rotherham.
