Plymouth Argyle’s interim manager, Neil Dewsnip, has indicated that the 17- year old striker, Freddie Issaka, is being considered for game time in the crucial upcoming matches against Millwall and Hull City. Issaka, who joined Plymouth Argyle from Truro City’s academy in 2021, has gradually progressed through the ranks at Home Park, making 16 appearances for the club and contributing with one assist. Despite his young age, Issaka has already featured five times in the Championship this season and has been included on the bench multiple times in 2024.

Given Plymouth Argyle’s challenging position near the bottom of the table, there have been suggestions from some quarters to give Issaka an opportunity, especially considering the team’s recent struggles.
