Reading midfielder declares his clear intentions about the club…

Reading FC midfielder Lewis Wing, aged 28, recently addressed concerns among fans about his potential departure from the club despite an impressive debut season. Having joined Reading from Wycombe Wanderers last summer, Wing has experienced a career-high in terms of goal contributions, scoring nine goals and providing eight assists in League One. Despite the disappointment of a 3-2 defeat to Burton Albion in the final away match of the season, Wing’s performance, including a crucial free-kick goal, showcased his value to the team.

Despite speculation about potential interest from other clubs, Wing reassured supporters by affirming his commitment to Reading, citing his existing three-year contract as evidence of his intention to stay. Additionally, he acknowledged the burgeoning popularity of his partner, Yazmine Delarose, who has gained attention on social media for her outspokenness against club owner Dai Yongge. Delarose has expressed her desire to foster a sense of family within the club, a sentiment echoed by Wing.

Speaking on BBC Berkshire, Wing emphasized the harmony within his relationship with Delarose, expressing mutual support for each other’s endeavors. He acknowledged her efforts to promote a familial atmosphere at the club and credited her for contributing to the unity between fans and players. Despite the newfound attention on Delarose, Wing remains focused on his footballing career and is appreciative of the support from both fans and his partner.
