West brom man bids farewell in few words after unveiling his future..

Karlan Grant, the £15 million striker for West Brom, has bid farewell to Cardiff City as his season-long loan spell with them comes to an end. During his time at Cardiff, which spanned the entirety of the 2023/24 season, Grant appeared in 40 matches, contributing six goals and three assists across various competitions. Now, as he prepares to return to West Brom for the upcoming summer, Grant expressed his gratitude to Cardiff City on social media platforms with heartfelt messages and accompanying photos.

Despite his successful loan stint with Cardiff, Grant won’t be available for West Brom’s play-off campaign. Upon his return to West Brom, where he still has two years left on his contract, the club’s management will decide on his role based on their divisional status for the next season. Depending on whether West Brom remains in the Championship or gets promoted, Grant could find himself back in the first-team fold alongside players like Alex Mowatt and Cedric Kipre, who also had loan spells away from the club and returned to contribute to their push for the play-offs.

Grant, when questioned about his future in March, acknowledged his contractual obligations to West Brom and stated that decisions regarding his next move would involve discussions with the club’s management and his representatives. He emphasized the importance of playing regular football for his career progression. West Brom manager Carlos Corebran has expressed satisfaction with Grant’s development during his loan spell, indicating that opportunities will be considered based on performance and contribution to the team.
