Top Millwall player left off of Scotland’s Euro 2024 squad
The Scotland squad that Steve Clarke has selected for Euro 2024 does not include Kevin Nisbet, a striker for Millwall.
The former West Brom manager, Clarke, has selected an initial 28-man roster for the competition in Germany, with two players being left off of the final roster.
Che Adams of Southampton, Ben Doak of Liverpool, Lyndon Dykes of QPR, James Forrest of Celtic, and Lawrence Shankland of Hearts were all chosen as forward alternatives.
With ten Scotland matches under his belt, Nisbet scored in the team’s February 2021 2-2 tie with the Netherlands.
Following his summertime transfer from Scottish Premiership team Hibernian to the Lions, the striker has only received one call-up to the Tartan Army.
This season, Nisbet has scored five goals in the Championship in 27 games.
Switzerland, Germany, and Hungary are in Group A with Scotland.
