Luton Town loses Another Outstanding Star As he Leaves Kenilworth Road
Elliot Thorpe was another individual who did not make the retained list for the 2024–2025.
In September 2021, Thorpe—who is still only 23 years old—joined the Hatters after being released by Tottenham Hotspur.
Nevertheless, Thorpe failed to make an impression right away and, since joining Luton Town, has gone on loan to Burton Albion and Shrewsbury Town on multiple occasions.
Due to a lack of first team activity, Thorpe was recalled by the Hatters halfway through his time at Burton Albion. Neither of the young player’s spells went especially well. Sadly, an injury sustained at Shrewsbury Town interrupted his loan period, and he had to return to Kenilworth Road midway through the season.
Thorpe played in just three league games and three domestic cup events throughout his Hatters career.
Elliott has represented Wales in a few of competitions, but he hasn’t yet appeared in a complete international.
Elliot may need to play in the lower divisions of the EFL to find a team where he can settle down and get experience, but perhaps he can overcome his inkury problem and find a team.
