Luton Town – Another player departs following the announcement of the retained list
Following a brief hiatus brought on by events beyond my control, it is now appropriate to conclude the articles in the Hatters retained list series.
I have already discussed the departures of Luke Berry, Fred Onyedimna, and Elliot Thorpe in this short series. Now, to finish the series, let’s talk about Admiral Muskwe, who is the final notable name that is not on the retained list.
Muskwe left Leicester City in July 2021, and he signed with the Hatters for that well-known undisclosed sum.
The attacking midfielder/forward went on to play in 22 league games, however he was unable to score in any of them.
The Zimbabwean international was then leased out to Fleetwood Town and Exeter City from 2022 to 2024, however he didn’t play much for either team.
When he was on loan at Swindon Town and Wycombe Wanderers while he was with Leicester City, maybe the signs of his potential as a forward were already there.
Muskwe didn’t exactly win over the supporters of the Hatters during his tenure at Kenilworth Road, and to be really honest, I’m not surprised that he was released.
It’s unclear where he will end up, but from all of us at Vital Luton Town, we would want to wish him well and appreciate his efforts while he was here.
