Fulham are holding talks with Atlanta over a potential loan move for El Bilal Toure
Fulham is in discussions with Atlanta regarding a possible loan deal for El Bilal Toure, as reported by L’Equipe.
Last summer, the 22-year-old made a £24.5 million move from UD Almería to Serie A but encountered injury issues early on. He was sidelined for five months after injuring his hamstring during pre-season.
Despite this setback, the Mali international finished the season strongly, scoring three goals in seventeen games. His performances were crucial as Gian Piero Gasperini’s team clinched fourth place in the league and secured victory in the Europa League.
Toure notably found the net in the semi-final, contributing to his team’s dominant display against Marseille in the second leg.
Fulham is in discussions for a season-long loan deal with an option to buy for Toure. Born in the Ivory Coast, Toure gained recognition for his contributions to Mali’s under 20 team during the African Cup of Nations in 2019.
He started his professional journey with Reims, tallying nine goals in 68 matches before joining Almeria.
Toure notably scored the decisive goal in Almeria’s historic victory over Barcelona in February 2023 and concluded his single season in Spain with seven goals in 22 appearances.
