Hummel’s Coventry City’s New jersey is teased as Championship rivals reveal design
Supporters of Coventry City are still eagerly awaiting word on the team’s new uniforms for the 2024–2025 Championship run.
Before the team’s schedule of preseason friendly, Sky Blues supporters are eager to see the newest designs and then drop big money to have the replica shirts on their backs. By the time of their first practice, the players, according to the club, will be wearing the new uniforms on their backs.
We’re all excited to see what Hummel, the team that supplies City’s uniforms, has created this year. In previous years, they have created some quite popular strips. Will fans be treated to something fresh and contemporary, or will it be another throwback tribute to outstanding historical uniforms?
One thing is certain: Hummel’s official X account on social media describes City’s new home shirt as “beautiful.” “As I seek to build appropriate hype levels for the new @SunderlandAFC home shirt (out this Friday), I’m here to tell you that it’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen,” the Danish kit company teased fans this week in a post about Sunderland’s new uniform.
In response, a Coventry supporter questioned: “Is it more gorgeous than the Coventry shirt?” “Is it a cop out to say they are equally beautiful?” Hummel responded. will allow you to assess them when they’re freed!”
Can supporters of City identify any hints in the Black Cats logo from the picture montage below? Will City have stripes again? They had stripes last season, among other times. However, it’s more likely that the crew neck and sleeves—which display the recognizable hummel chevrons running from the neck down the arm—will provide us with some clues.
What do you think?
